Dancing
In case I haven't mentioned it before, Henley loves to dance. This video is almost a month old now, but too good not to share.

Henley has a cousin
It's official Henley has a baby cousin. Kate Ashby Stewart was born September 30th at 10:43 pm, 5 lbs, 7 oz. Mom and baby are both doing well. We couldn't be more excited for Amanda and Justin. They will be great parents and we look forward to seeing our girls grow up together.
On Henley's birthday, April and I both took the day off. We tried to get her in a Little Gym class but missed her age group's time slot. We ended up having lunch at Chick-fil-a where Henley had part of a Chicken sandwich, some fruit, and her 1st dreamcicle. She loved the ice cream! Our plan was to then go to the park, but the rain didn't cooperate for that. We ended up going for a walk around the neighborhood in her new wagon with Macy. April and Aunt Ashley then painted her toe nails. What a great 1st birthday!
Henley had her 1 year check up last week and is doing fantastic. She is in the 97th percentile in weight and 70th in height. Doctor Bonney said that her motor skills are closer to an 18 month. Her new favorite phrase is - "What's this?" Oh - my little baby is growing so fast.

Happy 1st Birthday
Henley,
It is hard to believe that 1 year ago you were born. You bring us such joy and make us smile each and everyday. We love to watch you learn new things and reach new milestones. It has been an exciting and fun 1st year. You have learned to smile, laugh, hold your head up, roll over, crawl, walk, beg, pout, dance, hold your bottle, drink from a sippy cup, eat solid foods, feed yourself, push buttons, turn book pages, turn on the iPhone, catch a ball and the list goes on and on. You are so smart and learn things so quickly. Words can't describe how much your Mom and Dad love you.
