Coming Home

After a long 3 1/2 days, we are finally home. Henley slept the entire way. :-) We weren't sure we would be able to come home today. We thought it was 50/50 but April's platelet count remained steady overnight. They put her on some iron to help her recover from the blood loss. She is able to walk some now but very, very slowly. Please continue to pray for her recovery.

Henley is doing great. She is an awesome little eater. The nurses praised her up and down. She had a jaundice level of 0 and she actually gained an ounce back which the nurses said was almost unheard of for a breastfeed baby. She is so beautiful and I love watching every expression and noise that comes out of her.
