Many of you have asked about April and I apologize for not posting something sooner.
The doctor visit Monday went well. The main area where the bleeding occurred has closed now, which is good and bad. The good is that it is healing and minimizes the risk of infection. The bad is that April’s body needs to now absorb any blood/tissue that may be pooling there as it heals. If it doesn’t it will require an operation for the doctor to open the area back up and drain the area. It is also still very swollen but that is going down slowly. April is still in some pain but not quite as bad as before. It gets quite a bit worse if she stands for more than 10 minutes or so. The doctors are keeping a close eye on it and she has another appointment Monday. I don’t think we will know if she needs surgery for a few weeks as they need to monitor how our body heals on its own.
On a good note, Henley is doing great. She is a healthy, happy baby. She is eating very well and it is such a blessing that we aren’t fighting troubles on both sides.
